Ashman's Royal Rumble Predictions
The Royal Rumble Match
Batista - May win. They are pushing him heavily and a Triple H & Ric Flair v/s Batista feud looks imminent.
Booker T - No. Pushed down to the middle order and run out of steam since shifting to SD!
Charlie Haas - No. Not that active as of recent, also not a contender or even close for the big titles.
Chris Benoit - No. Won it last year and the crowds aren't looking forward to him winning again.
Chris Jericho - Could win. Doesn't have a push or any support behind him, but beating Benoit is good and he can look a promising champ.
Christian - No. A jobber now.
Dan Puder - No. Isn't going to get such a big push so soon.
Eddie Guerrero - No. Same as Booker.
Edge - May. Has good chances. Has been pushed and is feuding with Shawn Michaels, one of the great perrenial contenders for the championship.
Gene Snitsky - No.
Hardcore Holly - NO!
Jonathan Coachman - NOO!!!
John Cena - No. Not his time yet.
Kane - No. Too busy protecting Lita and keeping Snitsky off television.
Kenzo Suzuki - No!
Luther Reigns - For God Sakes, NO!
Mark Jindrak - No. Not his time yet.
Muhammad Hassan - No. Just debuted.
Orlando Jordan - No. Won't fight his boss.
Rene Dupree - No. Not actively pushed.
Rey Mysterio - No. Not a contender for big titles.
Ric Flair - No. Won't fight his boss, but will probably keep Batista from winning.
Scotty 2 Hotty - No. Too weak.
Shawn Michaels - Too old.
Shelton Benjamin - Too Intercontinental.
Simon Dean - Who?
The Hurricane - No Hurricane this time, folks.
Viscera - Won't win but probably will eliminate a lot of folks, he may be the Big Show of the last Rumble.
Now the only ones who got nods are:
Batista, Chris Jericho & Edge.
Chris hasn't been pushed enough to go on to win & Edge will probably take it later.
So the winner is:
Batista.... unless HHH/Ric Flair eliminates him causing
Edge to win.
HHH v/s Orton
World Heavyweight Championship
HHH, please. I find Orton's act boring and I like Raw the way it is. I think Ric may cause a victory. Or probably Orton. I don't know. Well, my pick is...
HHH.
Cause HHH would produce better feuds with Edge & Batista.
JBL v/s Kurt Angle v/s Big Show
Triple Threat
Well, let's see... not Big Show, with probably him beating up both of them and either of them getting the pinfall. JBL might win over Kurt Angle... though Kurt Angle looks good to take the championship away. My pick:
JBL
Undertaker v/s Heidenreich
Casket
Nobody cares. It's a match Taker deserves to win, but I wish he jobs and puts Heidenreich over. Anyway, I've read that Snitsky might interfere but what the heck, b4 I read that my pick was...
Undertaker
and I'm sticking with it.
Shawn Michaels v/s Edge
I think this is the only match worth watching... Obviously fast-paced action going both ways, but in the end Edge picking it up with a handful of tights or ropes... My pick
Edge
